Salon International 2017

The largest UK Hairdressers trade show that stylists and colourists from all over the world will be attending to gain inspiration from the latest catwalk hairstyles, cuts and colours and of course hair extensions.

Myself and my highly creative education team will be showing casing the LOXBOX Pastel range Spring / Summer 2018 collection. Sharon Malcolm from Northern Ireland and Evangelia Morfoggianni from Greece will accompany myself on HJ LIVE Stage Sunday 15th October at 11am and The Fellowship for British Hairdressing on Monday 16th October at 12.30pm. Come and see us with our LOXBOX models and learn creativity and fashion techniques.

Sunday 15th October saw Loxbox Education Team on the Hairdressers Journal Stage at Salon International with their models.

The looks were showing our pastel collection of Taped Hair, using layering techniques and creative placement patterns to add to the volume and length of our models natural hair.

I created volume to a fine haired model who loves wearing her hair grey, two boxes were applied of the silver pearl 18” and the hair was rope twisted and braided centrally between beautiful waves using the Curl bar.

Sharon applied one box of Tapes to create a rainbow of colour on one side helping the hair to have more volume and colour on one of her signature hair up styles from the BUTTERFLY collection an open braid using colours rose pink, lavender lilac and stone blue.

Evangelia created a mullet on short hair to give length and colour on a very short hair style. One box of lavender lilac Tapes were applied in the nape area creating two rows this allowed Evangelia to cut and style into this lilac pop princess.

Day 2: Monday 16th October

SWEET DREAMS WERE MADE OF THESE.. As the Eurethmics sounded out the Fellowship for British Hairdressing stage Loxbox Education team showcased Taped Hair changing consumer looks for editorial by adding pieces of Tapes to frontal and side areas of the hairstyles. The looks were from my BACKSTAGE collection showing how hair extensions can create rock looks from the eighties.

It was a great atmosphere as the stage was high and the audience seating was full. All action is shown in the images below.
